About Lara Antonucci and Angels in Waiting Nursery
Hi, I am Lara Antonucci, and I am the artist behind the beautiful babies of Angels in Waiting.I have always enjoyed working with children. I ran a day care center out of my home while raising two small boys. Once I learned twins were on the way I realized it was time to give up the day care center. This was when I decided to be a full time mom and discovered the wonderful world of reborning. I have fallen in love with this amazing art! Having a background in art for years, I took to the art easily and quickly started selling my precious babies all over the world. Since I started reborning, I have had yet another baby of my own, my youngest, Sofia. Now with 5 children of my own and a business to run, I am very busy. I have continued to grow and learn as an artist. I am always looking for new ways to create these beautiful Angels. Not only do I make custom babies but I also teach reborning classes online. In addition to teaching, I operate a forum dedicated to reborning and to other artists striving to learn new techniques.My passion for the art of reborning is very evident. I use only the finest materials available, from paints to hair. It takes many long hours to perfect each baby. I strive to make each baby as realistic and lifelike as possible. I am very meticulous about the details of each baby I create. Every baby is unique and has many particulars such as tiny milk bumps, capillaries, and even scratches.
